1991 DESERT EXCURSION |

This trip followed parts of the Heritage Trail and took us on the South side of the Castle Mountains and along the old Railroad right-away into Searchlight, Nevada. Then returning through the Clark Mountains into Nipton and back the Landfair Valley Road to Cedar Canyon Road where we camped. A few months later we then camped on the property in Landfair Valley and explored to Pirute Creek and then to Gold and Round Valleys. Spent time in and around Midhills Campground, Hole-in-the-Wall Campground and Flattop Mountain. Again, as with all of out excursions, we had a great time and saw some beautiful scenery. |
