What a great weekend: The weather was beautiful, the Sun was bright, the water was warm, the food was tasty, the refreshments were quenching, and the company was great. From swimming to dancing, from motorcycle riding to horseback riding there was something for everyone, and everyone enjoyed some part of the action. My daughter Lisa, her husband Jeff and their friends along with my son Chris made a feeble effort to maintain some control but this was lost the first day--when someone shouted, "Let the Party begin"--from that point on all bets were off for Memorial Day Weekend, 2004. The weekend exemplified the total reason for the existence of our desert hideaway, or as another individual has said, "A desert paradise off the beaten trail". |
