Fear Grips Landfair Valley After UFO Sighting The eight families residing in Landfair Valley are living in fear after a rash of UFO sighting in their rural community. “I know what I seen” was the answer given by Blowsand Burns when questioned by a reporter for the Desert Star at his falling down wooden shack on the south face of Flattop Mountain. Burns further volunteered, “I admit to taking a sip of the homemade once in awhile, but them durn funny men stole all I had and came back every night for a week lookin for more.” The unknown craft, described by Burns as a “Spaceship”, also burned up his garden, he claimed. “They would stay until about midnight and then fire up their ship and zoom off into the night burning my garden with their exhaust”, Blowsand Burns said, “then the next evening at dusk, they would be here again.” Blowsand is close to 80 and lives alone with his trained seeing eye dog, Quicksand. Blowsand stated he does not need Quicksand to see but has him as a friend only. This reporter wonders what did happen during that seven day period two weeks ago, but one thing for sure, Blowsand has invoked fear to the few who live in Landfair Valley. It is known that Art Bell has requested a radio interview of both Quicksand and Blowsand on his nightly radio program. We will never know what exactly happened, but we do know that Blowsand and Quicksand now speak to each other in tongues. Blowsand further noted, “they done gone and took my eye sight with them when they left so I couldn’t describe um” and this reporter wonders which came or left first!! High Desert Star
